On Feb. 9, the launching ceremony and the first stop (Baoding High-tech Zone) of the industrial Internet integration into the park “100 Cities and 1000 Parks” activity, themed by “Industrial Enabling Park and Digital Intelligence to the Future”, was held in Baoding High-tech Zone. With the focus on the path of “industrial Internet + digital intelligence park”, the activity accelerated the upgrading of the informatization empowerment of industrial parks, promoted the digital, networked and intelligent transformation of enterprises, and enhanced high-quality economic development.

At present, the industrial Internet has become the key enabling factor and driving force for the high-quality development of the park. As the agglomeration area of China’s industrial development, the park is an important engine for China’s economic development. In recent years, Hebei has cultivated 282 industrial Internet platforms. 10.27 million sets of industrial equipment are connected. The cloud rate of industrial enterprise equipment ranks first in China. Great Wall Motors, CITIC Dicastal, HBIS and Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel were among the first batch of national digital pilot enterprises, ranking first in the country. The total number of 5G base stations built and opened has exceeded 90,000, ranking seventh in the country. Hebei Industrial Internet has entered a period of rapid growth.

The launch of the industrial Internet integration into the park “100 Cities and 1,000 Parks” activity marks the popularization of industrial Internet in cities and counties of Hebei Province, and promotes the rapid digital transformation of enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.

In the next step, Hebei will take the “100 cities and 1,000 parks” activity as an opportunity to accelerate the introduction of industrial Internet policy, network, platform, security, logo, resources and application into the park, advance the promotion of large-scale application, from entering enterprises into the park to connecting more industrial clusters, promote the continuous extension of industrial Internet to the capillary of economic development, and push forward the digital transformation and upgrading of more enterprises.

At the launch ceremony, Baoding Municipal People’s Government and China Academy of Information and Communications Technology signed a cooperation agreement on jointly building two public service platforms, service robot detection and electronic product reliability detection. In the future, the two sides will work together to promote the construction of Baoding’s public service platform for service robots and reliability testing of electronic products, and help the development of Baoding’s service robot industry and the improvement of the reliability and quality of electronic products.

Enterprises of the Industrial Internet “100 Cities and 1,000 Parks” partnership plan successfully signed a contract at the same time. In the future, all parties will establish a cooperation and exchange platform to gather resources through industrial Internet into the park, accelerate the pace of digital transformation of local parks and enterprises, build industrial Internet parks at a higher level, and promote high-quality development of regional economy.

In the forum keynote speech and experience sharing, well-known experts, scholars and business representatives shared their own practice and thinking on the development of industrial Internet.
